Spring blooms
I find myself incredibly inspired these days, wish I had someone to take photos of.
Got through these photos tonight after finishing my homework, and thought I would share…
Took this photo of a sparrow through my kitchen window with my 80-400mm. This has re-ignited my passion for bird photography, and will have to head out soon to fill up a memory card or two with photographs of birds.
Here’s some from a walk in Kitsilano last weekend as well.
When I was editing, I tried some different processing on this one…let me know what you think!
Will be heading out this weekend to take some more photos!

While I was taking these photos and editing last night, I couldn’t stop thinking about Japan…my thoughts are with the country right now.
Currently:
*Reading “Half of a Yellow Sun” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Also have “Blink” by Malcolm Gladwell, The Real Business of Photography and Mastering Black and White Photography on my desk to read.
*Finally got to see the Kings Speech – a very good movie! Highly recommend it to anyone thinking about going!
*Love the signs of spring that are appearing everywhere – buds coming out on the pussywillows, and snowdrops, lilies and crocuses poking up here in Vancouver.
